NEW ENGLAND HARMONICA INTENSIVE

FILLING UP FAST! ONLY 3 SPOTS LEFT!

Location: Shirley, MA
Time: 10am-5:30pm
Price: $155 (includes coffee & lunch)

This all day event will be a rare opportunity enjoyed by a small group of students. Ronnie and Annie are pairing up for the first time ever to put on a blues harmonica workshop geared towards advanced beginners and intermediate players. This event will be capped at 20 students to ensure that each attendee receives proper attention. Do not wait to sign up as this will fill up quickly.

Throughout the day, both Annie and Ronnie will lead a teaching segment individually; as well as a joint teaching session where they will discuss and share their approaches to playing blues harmonica with a special emphasis on performing and soloing. Veteran blues guitarist Nick Adams will be joining us for the day to help back up the teachers. Students will have the opportunity to receive feedback on their playing and improve performance skills. Be sure to bring harmonicas in the key of C, A & D at the least; as well as a note pad/audio recorder. Ronnie and Annie will have their CDs and instructional material available for purchase at the event.

Some included topics will be:
Tongue Blocking, Vibrato, and other blues focused techniques
12 Bar Blues Structure
Groove & Bass Lines
Various roles of a harmonica player
1st & 3rd Position
